Cuomo throws anti-conservative grenade; Where's the outrage?
« on: January 21, 2014, 08:24:04 AM »
As if I needed to ask.

Quothe li'l Andy: "Are they these extreme conservatives, who are right to life, pro assault weapon, anti-gay, is that who they are? Because if that is who they are, and if they are the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York. Because that is not who New Yorkers are."

Can you imagine the Governor of, oh, say... Alabama saying the same thing about liberals?  Hmmm?  Canya?
Can you imagine the 24-7 Scheissesturm  that would ensue?

Now imagine my surprise when Cuomo's comment to the State Assembly didn't get much buzz at all.
"My limited experience does not permit me to appreciate the unquestionable wisdom of your decision"

Seems like every day, I'm forced to add to the list of people who can just kiss my hairy ass.

I was trying to think of how many "conservatives" are actually described by all that stuff.  Very very few I would say.

Robert Bentley, governor of Alabama, extended an invitation to all of those conservative New Yorkers Cuomo referred to, suggesting they move here.

Just remember that "anti-gay" means "anti the left wing's point of view on gay." Does that help?

Oh, and "pro assault weapon" means "pro-Second-Amendment."

I would support NY'ers move into the Carolinas only if there was a 5 year moratorium on voting.  It takes about that long to get their numerous social and political flaws fixed.  Until then they are apt to recreate what they left behind.
"Men, it has been well said, think in herds. It will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one."
- Charles Mackay, Scottish journalist, circa 1841

"Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it." - John Lennon

I can't get worked up over the equivalent of feces flinging monkeys.  It's just in their nature.
