And he just bought it off ebay.

Apparently it was found in a mail bag from a TV station.

How cool is that? 50 years later!

But did Santa bring him what he asked for?

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.

He has very feminine handwriting, and he should sue Tim Allen for trademark infringement.

Also, I want that envelope to show my mom that pencil doesn't rub off even after five decades, so I don't have to use a pen if I don't want to.

But seriously, how did he find this thing?

So he bought back his old letter to Santa? That's pretty awesome.

To me, the cranking on mine is pretty effortless, at least on the coarse setting. Maybe if someone has arthritis or something, it would be more difficult for them." - Ben

I used to live in LaGrange when I was very little. :)

I have family in that area today.

It also doesn't bleed off (as ink does) when soaked with water. Was the reason aircraft maintenance and flight records used to be written in pencil, in case the plane gets really wet.

I have no idea. I found out about it from his son.
