The [bleeping] media just can't pass up an opportunity to remind us about Newtown (Sandy Hook), and about guns.

New article on CNN. Student at a Connecticut high school was attacked and killed by a classmate. Speculation is that the [male] attacker was angry because the [female] victim declined his prom invitation. Pretty sick, really ... but not mass murder stuff, and no guns involved. But, never to allow any good crisis to go to waste, the article concluded with:

Milford is about 22 miles from Newtown, Connecticut, where a lone gunman in December 2012 shot his mother to death, then went to Sandy Hook Elementary School and killed 26 people, including 20 children, before taking his own life.

As if that had anything whatsoever to do with the current story.

Same reason former NYC mayor David Dinkins called for more stringent gun laws in response to the KNIFE STABBING MURDER of a tourist in his fair city.
