And apparently there was not a single protestor. To me, that is a big sign that his message is resonating across the political spectrum. Of course, it will probably be a black mark against him with establishment Republicans at nomination time.

I think the generations growing up in the Information Age are trending toward social and ideological shifts which neither party has figured out how to understand or coopt. I say this as someone just old enough to see it from the other side and, admittedly, is not entirely comfortable with all of those trends. Not sure Paul is the standardbearer for these new ideas, but he is at least an early prototype.
