Peach Tree Advice

So Lowes succeeded in suckering me into an impulse purchase with a 50% of sale of fruit trees.

So I have two newly planted peach trees. My google-fu did well for the initial planting but now I'm stumped about care of newly planted peach trees. I'm concerned about over-watering and rot.

So to the many gardeners here, my question is: do I soak the ground every day or allow it to dry out between waterings? (We've had 0 rain for the past week or so).

There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought
