Bloomberg lost last night in Milwaukee.

Quote
Interest in the race grew after former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's political action committee put up more than $150,000 to try to defeat Clarke and his pro-gun stance. In all, outside groups spent more than $550,000 to try to defeat Clarke in what became a political battle of gun control forces vs. Clarke, who received support from the National Rifle Association and other groups.

Don't let the headline fool you. Clarke won with the largest percentage spread in a primary for any of his elections to date.  ;)
I promise not to duck.

Wait, wait, wait.....he can't be pro-gun, he is black and a Democrat.

This is a case of why should a position like sheriff political.

Does have a good looking wife though.

Little irony is that he was appointed by a Republican.

That's really good news.

Bloomberg has been having some very public losses with his butinkski politics lately. That's more good news.

I read the Fox6 news report on the election.

http://fox6now.com/2014/08/12/he-lost-in-2010-can-mpd-lt-chris-moews-pull-out-a-victory-over-sheriff-david-clarke-in-2014/

Do I have a right to feel miffed about it? The whole piece sounded like campaign literature for Moews, Clark's opponent in the primary.

Somebody tell me I'm wrong.

Please.

Editorial piece "disguised" as news.

Fox is only "pro gun" in comparison to something like MSNBC or Daily Kos. They're still pretty anti, as a whole. Anyone have a link to that clip of Bill O'Reilly bloviating about how we need to get all those machine guns and bazookas off the streets?

That wasn't "Fox." That was a local piece, written by a local reporter. And if that's the best she can do, she may not last long in that role, either.

I heard an anti gun radio spot targeted against this guy.  It made me want to vote for him.
