It's too bad Bloomberg can't just be locked in a cage.

I wonder how much Clarke's pro-gun stances will hurt him. Story here.

I don't want these people locked in a cage. I want them to go and live in one of the many other countries that have already passed the laws they want here. Stop stealing my freedom and go to any one of the multiple other countries that are already your socialist, gun-free utopia.

Clark isn't a 'sure win', but he tends to get solid support from the inner city and the more conservative milwaukee suburbs. He is absolutely despised by the Milwaukee liberal power structure- Mayor/Police Chief/DA/County Executive/Aldermen.
Most conservative talk outlets are encouraging conservatives to cross over and vote for Clarke in the primary, since there aren't any republicans in any milwaukee race that matter.

Clarke is popular outside of the large urban areas in the state.  I predict he'll win re-election in MKE county, then go on to a larger role in the state, perhaps nationally.  I just hope he doesn't stoop to the liberal level of smear campaigning.  If i lived in the county I'd definitely vote in the primary for him.

I never knew what to make of Clarke when I lived in MKE county. It often seemed like he was just another Democrat pandering to conservatives. It wasn't until after I'd left the state that he started coming down firmly on the conservative side. What he did with Form 4's surprised me.

Being cynical, I suspect that, being a politician, he might have adopted an attitude that is popular and controversial in an attempt to garner votes.  He spoke at a hearing for the concealed carry effort back in 2010(ish) that I attended.  He supported concealed carry, but fell short of supporting constitutional carry at that time.  It wasn't long after Act 35 was passed that he became much more vocal in his 2A support.
