Good tune. Had not heard that one before. Thanks.

But most illogical.

Did he have his ears bobbed, or had they not grown out yet?

Highly Illogical   ???

He was  in quite a few of Lloyd Bridges' "Sea Hunt" programs and other old TV series.  In some of Rod Serling's programs, too.  This was before he got "typecast" as Spock.

I've seen him in a bunch of things.  Actually, quite a prolific supporting actor.  I seem to recall he was a tough guy in some Yul Brynner movie.

A very prolific actor, among other things. He was in a zombie movie long before it was popular.

Leonard Nimoy & William Shatner both appeared together in an episode of "The Man From U.N.C.L.E."
Nimoy appeared as an alien in a cheapo serial IIRC called "Zombies of the Stratosphere."
Shatner appeared as a Burmese sailor in an episode of "The Naked City" called "Without Sword or Stick."  His attempt at a Burmese accent may be fuuny --  except I don't know what a Burmese accent sounds like.  I wonder if Shatner did .....
He appeared in another Naked City episode as an artist who couldn't remember whether he'd murdered his wife.
(more women problems .... he he he).

An overloaded phaser on 'disintegrate'.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

ERIC BURDON & THE ANIMALS- "SKY PILOT" (LONG VERS…: http://youtu.be/69zvFnVa03g

I hated that song when it came out, and still do.

It was a shame when some groups went from doing really good blues and rock to doing protest and psychedelic songs.  It was true then, and it's still true today about the political and protest songs.

Thread veer!

Man, I loved "Sea Hunt" as a little kid. When I was around five, I'd watch it after having rigged my mom's hair dryer as a SCUBA device (old-fashioned hair dryers were big contraptions with a flex hose very similar to the flex hose on old-fashioned SCUBA regulators). Though with the "breathing helmet" I made for it, I looked more like Diver Dan. :)

I just tried finding it on Netflix, but no go. It looks like a lot of full episodes are on Youtube though.

Thanks! I actually just ordered the 24 hour marathon DVD (supposed to have the best reproduction quality of all the DVDs) for ten bucks, and it'll be here Monday for Labor Day viewing. Now I just have to break out my SCUBA gear so I can wear it while I watch.

Well, sorry, then. I just wanted to post another song by The Animals, 'cause I was wondering if some people actually thought that was Nimoy in the OP. And that song had some gun references.

No need to apologize, Fistful. Everybody has different likes and tastes. When the Animals stuck to blues, I thought they were good.

That really does look like Nimoy in the video. Maybe Nimoy was trying to look like Eric Burdon. ;)

Nimoy sounding almost as awkward as Shatner...I mean, really, was he doing karaoke to a song he'd never heard before or what?
