The only odd thing about this is that most medical personnel who engage in this sort of activity choose specialties that place them in close proximity to potential victims.  Not a lot of male children who are patients at the Spokane VA ER.

KXLY reports he's accused of taking boys to Hayden, Idaho, and filming them at the Triple Play Fun Park.

The Spokane Veterans Affairs Medical Center emergency room doctor was arrested Monday and accused of molesting a 13-year-old boy last weekend at his home at Nine Mile Falls.

The 45-year-old was re-arrested Wednesday for investigation of possible federal child pornography charges.

My money is on manufacturing child porn rather than being busted under the Mann Act.  (see 1978 & 1986 changes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mann_Act )

I used to know a guy (I didn't have anything to do with him if I could help it) who brought young guys up to his cabin every weekend 

I'm not sure of the ages, but some of them I'm pretty sure were under 18.
