He claims the Feds put him up to it, and it helped them catch some terrorists.



The ATF is no brain trust, but it seems doubtful that even the dumbest federales would have a cop go out and say, "Hey, I'm a cop! Tell me about all the illegal stuff you wanna do!"

He's full of crap. Those videos never resulted in a single conviction.

Given the stupidity that the BATFEI-EI-O have done in the past, his story isn't that much of a stretch. 

All it takes is one juror to believe that story and he's free.  So having a lawyer trot out all of the BATFE's "Stings" and other operations is a pretty good defense.


However, I probably wouldn't be that one juror....
