The article's headline is "Pucker Up and Pee."  And the old media wonders why no one respects them anymore.

Yeah, because zany headlines are clearly a recent occurance, especially when reporting on something that is inherently amusing.

I wanna build a bar with dozens of them just to spite the "women's groups".

Quick, quick, someone, somewhere is having a laugh at a crude joke, don your permanently-wadded panties and bitch until they apologize!

What was this group of women doing in the men's restroom anyway?

Sunday it felt a little better, but it was quite irritated from me rubbing it.

I'm afraid I'm with those who complained about these.  Think about it, guys.  I assume most of you have a woman in your lives for whom you care.  How do you think she'd feel at the thought of your body waste being squirted into her mouth?  Think that's funny?  I don't . . . so why should a urinal shaped and painted like a woman's mouth be funny?  And some of you will doubtless protest that you'd never do it to her, and that this is only a joke.  OK - you wouldn't pee in her mouth, but the thought of peeing into a representation of any woman's mouth is still funny?  Sheesh!

Sorry, but I think the 'artist' who designed these things is seriously warped, and those who find the concept amusing might want to take a closer look at their life values.
Let's put the fun back in dysfunctional!

What would that difference be as applied to news headlines?

c, I like you, and I value your comments on this forum, but if I need to explain "juvenile," then you need to grow up.  Sorry.

What you need to explain is what you think it means, then maybe we could understand what you are talking about. You made a facetious comment, cannot defend it in any way, so I have to grow up, right. Honestly though I dont really think that you care if you make sense so long as you are making noise, do what you like. I'm done with this thread.

facetious:
1 : joking or jesting often inappropriately : WAGGISH <just being facetious>
2 : meant to be humorous or funny : not serious

I wasn't joking.  As I said, I'm sorry.

My mistake, I should have said fatuous.

In fact, I should have said it two or three times.

If males were the butt of the joke, everyone would laugh. Since females were the object, everyone agrees it's not a laughing matter at all.

Question
How many feminist does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
Answer
Thats not funny!
Politicians and bureaucrats are considered productive if they swarm the populace like a plague of locust, devouring all substance in their path and leaving a swath of destruction like a firestorm. The technical term is "bipartisanship".

To be fair to c_yeager, I will explain myself.  "Pee" is a children's word, and one not becoming a respectable media outlet because it is crass.  (Hence we see it from MSNBC.)  It does not suit the supposed "amusing" character of the story, as the story is not amusing.  The idea of relieving oneself in another person's mouth is outrageous.

It is indeed sexist to take special offense that this is levelled at women.  That is why sexism is quite a proper turn of mind.  Women deserve especial respect in this regard.
