None of my Glocks have hall sensors on them.  You don't know what you are taking about.

I wouldn't rely on hall sensors. Barney would just disable them while Paris slips past the guards in disguise.
Impressed yet befogged, they grasped at his vivid leading phrases, seeing only their surface meaning, and missing the deeper current of his thought.

All seriousness aside, I posted a tire question on a truck forum clearly stating what tires I had (LT) and trying to find something that might be better for that size wheel, because larger wheels aren't readily available for that vehicle.

So I get answers:

"Make sure you don't have passenger tires"

"Get 16" wheels"

If it were a jest then I would appreciate it as much as anybody  ;), but ... stupid, anyone  ???

30x9.5R15LT (load range C) or 7R15 load range D.  Better be sitting down when you look up the price on the 7R15's.

If your rims are wide enough, you can go 31X10.5R15LT

I think they are 8" wheels ( some steel "rally" wheels that I bought used a couple years ago because one of the alloy wheels cracked and now I don't trust them ).

Do you think either of the above would be significantly better than LT235/75R15(C) for holding up to gravel roads  ???

The only thing I was thinking is that maybe I could run less pressure (than 45-50 psi) in a bigger tire and thus maybe not be so susceptible to damage  =|

The tires on the truck now are almost new (~2K miles) and I was thinking of swapping them to the jeep which is much lighter, if I got something better for the suburban.

I don't really know; they are all larger in diameter than a 235/75R15, and that should help.  Because they are load range D the 7R15's should be the toughest, but they are also the smallest and if vehicle is heavy you'll have to run them at 60-ish PSI and that might defeat the purpose.  Are you really having trouble with the LT235's?  That's supposed to be a good all-around size...

I have a thing for skinny high-profile truck tires. :D  I never run them at max pressure unless I'm hauling a heavy load (and that's not very often.)  Not many rocky gravel roads here.

Yeah :(   Have yet to actually wear out a set since we moved out here 12 years ago.  Usually ruin one or two before they are half worn out and end up buying another set of four.

The Suburban weighs over 5000 pounds empty, and C range radial tires seem to pop like balloons.  OTOH, we used to have a K-10 with a heavy camper shell and it did fine way up in the Colorado mountains (where we had real rocks, not just mudstone) with the old bias ply 7.00-15.

We've basically only driven it in the winter for the past couple years.  I like the old solid axle trucks but I'm seriously considering trying to trade it for something with 16" wheels.

Can you still find bias ply tires anywhere?  Maybe a farm supply store?

16x6.5 or 16x7 wheels would solve a lot of problems.

Maybe you should just get a Glock already.

Almost impossible to find 16" 6-hole wheels that will fit.  The backspacing is all wrong on the 1988-1998 K1500 wheels  =(

Actually, I got a jeep - which is about a ton lighter because of its polymer frame  =D.  Still want to keep the old Burban around for a backup.

If these guys can't get it for you it probably doesn't exist.

I wonder if my wheels are too wide for those?  It says 5.5x15 but I think mine are 8x15  =|

Check Toyota rims, a friend of mine wouldn't use the Chevy 6 bolt on his old FJ40 for the same reason.
A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.
Is defenestration possible through the overton window?
