Of course, had we made the reforms President Bush wanted, it would be in much better shape. Instead, thanks to the Democrats, we kicked the can down the road.

So I and my children can deal with it when it collapses, because the current politicians are too selfish and cowardly to do anything about it.

Gee, I wonder what other issue (cough-IRAN-cough) works out just like that?

They have but they just redefined so it isn't called waste, fraud, or abuse.
