So, we're making progress on terminators, it appears. Skynet must be getting close.

Honestly, If you have seen that new Robocop remake they did, that is probably closer to the reality of what will happen (not the cyborb, but the other robots they had).  Robots introduced as infantry bots to assist ground troops then branching into police work.

Already there.  Airborne drones used for military recce, then military strike, then LEO/civilian recce (already being done)...then...you see where this is going...
