Quote
“I do think I could have and should have done a better job answering questions earlier. I really didn’t perhaps appreciate the need to do that,” the democratic presidential candidate told Muir in an exclusive interview in New York City. "What I had done was allowed, it was above board. But in retrospect, as I look back at it now, even though it was allowed, I should have used two accounts. One for personal, one for work-related emails. That was a mistake. I’m sorry about that. I take responsibility.”

I can't understand how a single person still supports this lying hypocrite. "It was allowed." No, Hillary, it was NOT allowed. Your CEO had a rule against it. And the only thing you're sorry about is that you got caught.

Above board? If it was so above board, why have you spent months doing everything possible to hide it, to cover it up, and why did you wipe the server before turning it over to the investigators?

God, I hate that woman.

Actually she should have been using at least three accounts on the government side, NIPR for normal day to day unclassified official products, SIPR for Secret products and then JWICS for the TS BS.
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Only the dead have seen the end of war!

But the apology is supposed to let everything continue as it was before. That's how this works.  If a mistake is made, say "I take full responsibility". That doesn't mean anything, as you'll still keep your job and won't lose anything. You just mouth those words.

The apology is similar. It's for when you're backed into a corner and have run out of excuses. The apology is supposed to absolve you of all crimes by causing people to say, "see, she apologized. It's all good now".  It's applied to just about every liberal politician for the last 100 years, except for maybe John Edwards. Too bad Nixon couldn't have used it.

They're definitely running the Clinton playbook.

- Deny
- Lie
- Claim "conspiracy" or haymaking by political enemies, the Republicans
- Apologize, but claim by now it's "old news" once they've run out the clock on the news cycle.

The one unspoken part in all of this was Bill and his smile. His demeanor. Hillary has zero of that, arguably she's in negative territory when it comes to her personal demeanor. Despite raping his way through Arkansas, and all the other scandals, from the standpoint of the MSM and the Democrats, Bill was the cool slick older brother you looked up to, because he knew all the cool kids, where the best party was, and got you and your underclassmen friends beer during the summer.  Hillary was his mean cold ugly girlfriend you never understood why Bill was with, but you tolerated her because you liked Bill.

And from what I see on the HRC for POTUS site, the four point apology/denial says "no emails MARKED as classified were ever on the HilServer..." (paraphrasing)

Well, that's parsing too fine a point IMO, because now instead of having classified materials on the HilServer, there were flunkies on the inside stripping those classified headers off the emails or documents, and then forwarding them. I'm pretty sure "defacing" or "altering" classified documents/data to remove it's "classified" stampings is a felony in of itself under whatever laws.
I promise not to duck.

I go back to what I've been saying since the beginning: The average American has zero clue regarding how "classified" works or just what a big deal this actually is, so it's easy for her to use the "mountain out of a molehill" approach because people buy it.
