Bird pictures
« on: November 08, 2015, 04:31:22 PM »
The winter birds are starting to come in to the birdfeeder.

We get a pretty good variety here at the house I'll update with new pictures as I get them but for openers here are a couple of "Carolina Chickadees"

Chicadees are awesome.  We get 6 or so of them for the winter, and they're my favorite.

The detail is amazing! The second chickadee is squinting like it's shopping.

Not much to do today with crappy cold wet weather but even with less than ideal lighting I got a few decent shots.

I'm a bit proud of this one

Haven't had time or decent weather for bird pics for a week or so.

Got these this afternoon.

Usually one of these peckerwoods is trying to knock holes in the side of my house.

I get a real big kick out of watching the birds at my feeders!

Terrific photos.  I like chickadees, too.

My late GSP Ten used to love stalking rows of bushes and then starling the chickadees from them.  He could catch them on the wing and would swallow them whole.
