Supervised opiate injection sites are a hot topic in the Seattle area right now, with many people pointing to the experience of Vancouver BC as either a pro or con for injection sites. High-quality studies looking at the problem are lacking, so the science on supporting or opposing injections sites is not a settled issue.

I have been to the Insite facility in Vancouver for work, and that is a scary area. You have to run a gamut of drug dealers to get to the injection site.

well, other than desiring to "deal with" the competition, I don't imagine that the drug dealers should be all that scary, other than they want to because they are otherwise prime robbery targets.

My second thought is that the prime way to deal with all the dealers would be to put them out of business.  Have the injection site sell medical grade pure *expletive deleted*it at discount prices.

With all the fentanyl laced *expletive deleted*it out there, it might solve some problems.
