Unique break open type shotgun name?
« on: February 19, 2016, 10:18:07 PM »
I few years ago I was at the big gun show in Vegas, believe it was the Antique Arms Show, but I'm not positive, and which apparently I just missed this years one  :'( There I saw a rather unique shotgun, and unfortunately for some unknown reason didn't really stop by to take a look at it, why would I not do this ??? There I saw a shotgun that that was a sidexside  break open, but instead of opening like a normal break open the barrels actually swung out sideways. Does anybody happen to know what these are called or anything?

“Fear of death increases in exact proportion to increase in wealth,” Hemingway once said. Today, many of us have become rich in the currency of cowardice. We have so many things and so few experiences. We are desperate to live as long as possible, not as large as possible. We are so afraid to say goodbye to the world that we never say hello.

Those are them! Man, my Google-fu was week on this one. I've tried at various times in the past to find out more information with no luck.
Very cool.

Someone recently had plans, or had drawings or something, for an over-under sideswing. I can't remember where I saw it, but I can't really say that I was all that intrigued...

4 barrel that opened to each side would be a cool looking impractical gun.

I really like the rotating lock double rifles.  Those are cool.

I agree.  The rotary action looks really cool.  I would love a double rifle of some type with that action.  Beautiful also.
