There's no accounting for taste, it seems.  Wifey and I were testers for Popchips when they first hit the market a few years back.  They used to send us samples of trial items and we would rate them yea or nay using various standards.  Some made it to market, others we never heard of again.
We also got lots of free stuff from them, mostly chips and such, as a thank you for being willing to test their products.
We found that we liked most of their stuff, but as time went by it got too expensive, probably as they became more popular.  We've since gone back to other less expensive brands.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.
