I struggle to come up with any better comment than yours.

@oncearepublican Maybe you are unable to notice through your persistent right wing myopia that sites like Salon don't hesitate to put liberal candidates through the wringer when they run afoul of social, economic, or foreign policy issues unlike the propaganda machines the right has set up.  You also apparently missed that progressive news sites generally fact check with real, verifiable facts instead of pulling complete nonsense out of their collective posteriors like Fox, Breitbard, Drudge, etc.  When a right wing organization comes close to presenting something in even a remotely honest light, then come back and we can discuss it.
This was one of the comments.  Lies are truth and truth is a lie.

Is brainwashed too harsh of a term for what has happened to hardcore conservative voters in recent years, thanks in part to the far-right press?

This was one of the comments.

It really is amazing how Matt Drudge, just by posting links to to articles from all kinds of different websites (left-wing, right-wing, and otherwise), and giving them headlines, has so crawled into the left's minds (to the extent they have minds). For someone right of center to simply read the news, and pass it on to other people, enrages them.

Is there some other Drudge website that I haven't found?
The drudge report is a headline/link aggregator site. I have never understood the hatred for Drudge from the left.

Once again, life imitates fiction. We've been reading about the possibility of parallel space-time continuums (continua?) intersecting for years. Apparently, it has happened, and nobody even noticed.

Examples abound.

Like the Fox news anchor who used forged documents from a dead man to try and influence an election. (What? That was Dan Rather at CBS?)

Well, what about the Breitbart story on exploding GM pickup trucks that the news organization booby trapped with its own incendiary device? (Huh? You mean it was really Tom Brokaw at NBC?)

Or the Drudge report about the Clinton ban on semi-automatic rifles that used file footage of machine guns? (Say WHAT? That was Tom Brokaw again?)

Or the bias the foreign-born news anchor at Fox showed by calling Americans childish for voting out a lot of Democrats? (Are you serious? That was really the late Peter Jennings at ABC?)

Never mind.
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.
