More Knuckleheads Making Gun Owners Look Bad
« on: April 25, 2016, 12:01:21 PM »
How the hell are there this many people who don't know you can't carry a gun in your carry-on? Let alone loaded with a round in the chamber? I'm assuming if lame TSA catches this many people, there must be like five times this many that get away with it. Certainly not large raw numbers, but it doesn't do us a bit of good in the media.

Notice these were found in bags and not on the person.  And why was the Florida woman arrested for not having a CCW permit if the guns was in her bag?
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Still in her possession I would guess.

Nothing wrong with a loaded firearm with one in the chamber, other than at a TSA checkpoint.

There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Only the dead have seen the end of war!

No, there's not, and I'll go so far as to give leeway to those in CCW states who used the, "Shoot, I forgot it was there" excuse for handbags or EDC bags or whatever. But in actual carry-on luggage that they packed, not so much. As much as I would like to see people CCW on the plane, it's currently not legal, and people throwing loaded guns in the carry-on are causing generalizations that make the rest of us look like dummies.
