Where is he going to find a building in the "countryside" where none of the neighbors would mind him crashing a plane into it?  How can he be sure the design of the building is similar enough to prove anything?  I assume this staged crash would only happen in some other country with different liability laws.

I seem to recall a story that a railroad staged a crash between two steam locomotives once.  It was described as pretty spectacular, but even then the liability wasn't fun.

The one that killed a few people, and injured a few dozen more?

That must be it.  Be careful mentioning Texas though as some might get upset.

There is a skyscraper here in Tulsa that is the same exact design as the Twin Towers.  A few stories shorter but designed the same.
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Only the dead have seen the end of war!

You mean it's made of fireproof, airplane-resistant steel?

I guess it wasn't the Murrah building.   [tinfoil]

I was running service and repair on PBX systems and in the weeks after 9/11 I had a call for a customer in the BOK tower. What a stupid flustercuck. Because the building was design by the same architect and looked similar they had decided they were at an elevated risk. They had ramped up their security theater to the point that I was unable to carry in a toll bag ful of basic tools and a telephone test set despite proper state issued and company issued ID. I had less trouble getting into the Federal Courthouse the next day.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

The links bring up two questions:

1. They build skyscrapers out in the countryside?

2. Why would you assume that two locomotives, designed with the boilers leading the way, could crash without exploding the boilers?
