Tools to see crime in your area

Found a few interesting things lately. First, an interactive map of crime in a given area and more including an automailer of selected crime alerts in a selected radius of a given address! Here's my city:

While strictly local to my parish (county), something similar may exist in your area, this is the Caddo 911 ACTIVE EMERGENCY EVENTS page, an auto updated list of 911 calls in the parish:

On my iPhone, I use "5-0 Radio Pro" as a police/fire radio scanner:

Looks like there's only one municipality in my entire country that reports to wherever this site gets its data -- and it ain't my municipality.

Either yer not big enough or need more crime. Personally, I'd shoot for the former.

Nope. The one municipality with hits is a small, suburban town. The nearby city, which I know has a lot of crime, shows zero results. I'm not surprised -- they do their best to hide the statistics.
