Hillary on Remote Control?
« on: September 08, 2016, 11:23:29 AM »
Found this story linked on Drudge - the source isn't the most reliable on the internet, so take it with some degree of skepticism.

http://www.infowars.com/was-hillary-wearing-an-earpiece-during-last-nights-presidential-forum/

Briefly, close up pictures of Hillary at a recent town hall appear to show something in her ear which allegedly (note this word) looks more like an inductive earpiece rather than a simple hearing aid. These inductive earpieces are used in Hollywood for things like coaching actors who may have forgotten a line. Hillary's voice patterns supposedly had some irregularities which are consistent with someone repeating someone else's words.

Hmmm . . . IS she being secretly coached in her public appearances - and by who?

And . . . if she IS being coached . . . might there be an opportunity here if the frequency being used is discovered and an appropriate duplicate transmitter were to be enabled?  >:D

Well, it's probably in the dot-gov channels where you and I aren't supposed to either listen in on or transmit on.

And possibly scrambled, to boot.  (Don't know if they can fit that much electronics in a little earpiece, but I wouldn't be surprised.*)

This, given the veracity of the story/speculation in the first place.

My first thought was, "jam the transmitter at an extremely (in)opportune* time....  Just watch her vapor lock"

My second thought was, "hit it with a loud, ear-piercing squeal - if she doesn't yank the thing out, repeat as necessary at random, (in)opportune* times."

*opportune or inopportune is all in the ear of the beholder.

The website True Pundit quoted unnamed New York police sources saying Clinton was wearing an “inductive earpiece” during the NBC forum hosted by Matt Lauer. The website described the unit as the kind of tech used by stage actors in need of prompting to recite forgotten lines.

This from FoxNews.com

The real question is:  If someone (anyone?) other then Mrs. Clinton is making decisions and answering questions for her is that an improvement in terms of presidential abilities?

I'm in the party that let us see if someone can interrupt the freq and either jam it or even better confuse the hell out of her.

I think you're right.  It's just the antenna showing.  Those spasms that people thought were seizures were just a brief loss of signal.  Pay no attention to the man, or woman, behind the curtain.

Half second delay; maybe just a little shorter.  (it's *very* confusing and she'll lock up)

It's usually a cellphone or pager-sized receiver box hidden somewhere in your clothing or a pocket, wired up to an induction loop around the neck hidden under the collar so the actual "transmit range" to the actual hearing-aid size earpiece is only a few inches.

And unless it was a completely el-cheapo unit, it is probably digital, so while may not "encrypted" per-se, it's signal is probably out of reach from your average amateur SIGINT or paparazzi type. Although the signal from the induction loop around her neck to the earpiece might still be analog, especially if the earpiece is a passive one powered by the loop antenna's signal itself. But it would be pretty weak and difficult to pick up without a high gain directional rig that would probably have the Secret Service pestering you quickly.
I promise not to duck.

I played with a speech jammer that would randomly vary the delay which made it impossible for you to eventually adapt to.

To play devil's advocate:
If, as seems most likely to me, Hillary is using the alleged earpiece to receive realtime coaching and feeding her talking points, I don't think this is fundamentally different from every other candidate having speeches and talking points written by professionals and putting in practice during mock debates.  Sure, other candidates have to rely on memory and teleprompters instead of a team of advisers on tap, but in either case the candidate is parroting someone else's words.

IF (and that's a big IF) this is true, it is fundamentally different. Both my be parroting someone else's words, but having them directly fed to you suggests an inability to digest them and recall them when questioned. That's a HUGE difference in actual mental capabilities.

Quite possibly, but then again it could just be someone looking for that extra edge to help win a close race.

Personally, if I were a Democrat, I'd be fuming if Clinton actually has health issues that she (and her handlers) have been concealing. Enough that I'd start demanding full health disclosure during the primaries.

But, as with the obvious corruption, lawbreaking, and mendacity, nothing matters to leftists but giving the proper obeisance to their gods.
