Do we need MORE on global warm ... sorry, "climate change"?
« on: December 20, 2016, 06:38:44 PM »
Of course we do:

http://freebeacon.com/politics/congress-obama-admin-fired-top-scientist-advance-climate-change-plans/

Synopsis: The Obama administration conspired to obstruct Congress, and fired a senior scientist because she was too honest with Congress and didn't follow the administration's talking points.

But, of course, this has to be fake news, because we all know that global warming climate change is "settled science."

Just more stuff that the Repubs in the House should have cut over the last 8 years.  I hope Rick Perry can clean up that department.

Less than a month later, lawmakers discovered that Obama administration officials had “removed Dr. Metting from federal service for allegedly providing too much information in response to questions posed by” Congress during the briefing, the report states.

So why couldn't they fire Lois Lerner, a bunch of VA employees, and every other swinging Richard in the Federal Service, if they could shitcan her in a month??

An excellent question, and one that deserves an excellent answer.

Which means you won't get an answer anytime soon.

I'm curious myself. Usually at the level implied in the article, it's a lateral transfer because canning them is so incredibly difficult. I wonder if there is some misinformation and she is actually a contractor? Otherwise, given stuff I saw in my career regarding crappy employees that should not only have been fired, but tarred and feathered, she seems to be in an excellent position for a profitable lawsuit.

Lerner was a tile crawler hard to get rid of. And she was experienced and the administration had her back. The reverse of a while blower

Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

I'm a little confused about the climate change link - is it just that they wanted to cut this research while increasing climate change research?
In the moral, catatonic stupor America finds itself in today it is only disagreement we seek, and the more virulent that disagreement, the better.
