Minorities are buying more guns

Minorities are buying more guns, possibly due to fear of the non-minority population.  Let us see if the non-minority population catches on to this and buys even more guns due to fear of the minority population.  A perfect circle to the benefit of Big Gun.

The minority guys I know own/shoot for the same reasons I do...it's fun and a good skill/tool to have just in case.

Um, no, those are not the reasons you own guns. Research (reading news and opinion articles by blue-state eloi who have seen guns before, because their dads have one) indicates that you own guns due to:

a) fear of racial and religious minorities
b) feelings of sexual inadequacy
c) the gun industry and their paid shills the NRA told you to.

This can only be a good thing IMHO.

The "right" is the only place honest discussions about self defense, gun ownership and responsibilities takes place.

As more minorities seek education on the subject they will undoubtedly be exposed to other concepts that those on the right espouse.

OMG THE NOES!

We can't let anyone other than the good cracker Whitey McWhitersons of the world have guns! We need some new gun laws!

Was it last election that some pundit said that blacks and other minorities should start buying guns, because NRA would immediately come out for tougher anti-gun laws?

I recall when I first applied for membership, and the NRA came out to check on me, and make sure my whole family was lily-white, and free of any "mongrel" ancestry. These days, they just have you send in a DNA sample.

That immediately brings to mind Dave Chappel's Blind Klan Member sketch from his show some years ago. Unbelievably funny in a "OMG, should I really be laughing?" kind of way.



I made it known at my office last year that anyone who wanted to buy a gun (this was during the run up to the election) that I'd be more than willing to help them navigate the laws, training, take them to the range with a few of my guns, etc.

No takers, unfortunately.
