So, YEARS of bullying their opposition (which is what the press does) and all it takes is for 6 months of being hit back for them to start crying for mommy.

You know, I said it before, but I'm really regretting not voting for Trump. He appears to be the ...tool this country needed.

Oh, and I love the trying to build himself up "....essentially checks and balances in the system". Sorry, little guy. You're not part of the systemic checks and balances. Which is good, because you've been failing rather spectacularly at the job you are supposed to have, anyway.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

Cry me a river, reporter boy.  Suck it up or find another line of work.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

It's sad that "journalistic integrity" has replaced "government intelligence" at the top of the oxymoron list.

Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.

does the left never see the irony of an anti bullying advocate becoming the bully?   Laughing.  Of COURSE not.   :)

I don't know if Trump will end up being everything I would like, but he does appear to have the guts to stand up to the media and others.  That and what appears to be some common sense make him unusual in D.C.

I wonder how Dan Rather, the king bully of the press world, would have fared against Trump?

George H. W. Bush held his own against the *expletive deleted*che.

http://www.nytimes.com/1988/01/26/us/rather-s-questioning-of-bush-sets-off-shouting-on-live-broadcast.html

And of course we should all remember Rather being so intent on getting Bush II that he left journalistic ethics and standards in the dust and essentially destroyed his career.

All he did was use forged documents from a dead man in a blatant attempt to influence a national election, and they fired the poor guy.
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

You ought to pull up a UToob video of the Bush I vs Rather back from 1988.

Rather's performance in that little episode was nothing short of reprehensible.
