Quote
Democrats suing her insist that the congresswoman violated DNC’s charter and bylaws that say party chair “shall exercise impartiality and evenhandedness” and “shall be responsible for ensuring that the officers and staff of the DNC maintain impartiality and evenhandedness.” Wasserman Schultz also made public declarations vowing to run a neutral primary, according to the lawsuit, while she and the DNC pushed for Clinton from the start of the 2016 presidential election cycle.

But I thought the DNC had stated recently that there was nothing in their rules that said they had to play fair.

Which leaves one to wonder why even bother to run a primary ...

The DNC lawyer's statement that they were not required to play fair was in response to this lawsuit ...

True.

Political parties are legally private clubs and they can pick whoever they want as a canidate.  They don't have to be democratic at all.

Can't an organization be successfully sued for violating its bylaws?

Yes, hence the term "By-laws", as in this is how the club will operate, by the law.

And the DNC's by-laws state that they will conduct fair and open primaries, not favoring any candidate, etc.  But because the DNC cheated for Hillary (see WikiLeaks emails), those that contributed $$$$ to Bernie we're defrauded.

And yes, like the DWS computer scam the media silence is deafening.

Wasn't there a time when the Democrats at the top were serious, competent, people?

Did things start to come apart with the Clintons or did it start before then?
