Bored and generally unmotivated

I hate this time of year.  Business is slow, the weather stinks, and I really don't want to do a dang thing.  Not depressed, just bored and lacking any desire whatsoever to go out and stir up something (business or otherwise). 

Sometimes an 8-5 with vacation time and health bennies sounds good.  Then there's spring and summer when things are popping like mad and I wouldn't be doing anything else except what I'm doing.

Gah, just had to vent.  Think I'll head to the house - fix myself a bite to eat, let the cat's curl up on my lap, and watch Mythbusters.  Beats the heck out of sitting up here staring at an endless pile of paperwork!

A known phenomenon - "winter blues". Solution: drink more liquids, try to eat more veggies, and force yourself to go to the gym more often. You will see your energy rise.

Heck no, the solution is get your guns together, go to the range and shoot stuff. Learn to appreciate when business is slow.  grin

I have a full plate of work to do at the office, plus a ton of crap happening outside of the office.

I'm not bored, but I sure as hell am unmotivated.
