On Kamala Harris

A year ago I was posting on here that I was sure Kamala Harris would be the Dem's pick for 2020. She was the darling of the dems and young progressives - the female Obama. Now I am reevaluating my earlier views.

I don't know if others here have paid attention to anything she says, but over the last year, the only things I ever hear her say is platitudes and soundbites. It's like she has a "generic progressive nonsense of the day " calendar and posts whatever it says each day to Twitter (example below). She more and more appears to be nothing but a parrot, and not a very bright one. It will be interesting to see if progressives catch on and push her to the back of the queue, or if they choose to do identity politics and put her at the front. I almost hope the latter, because there's a lot of comedy material there for the 2020 run.

Well, seeing how California has been becoming less and less habitable by "normal" people for about 4 decades or so I would hope you had an exit strategy already planned out!!

Exit strategy is currently in high gear. Figuring out my dad and selling off my properties here in a tax efficient manner have been my only holdbacks. Last property just sold last month.
