Paul Manafort Jury
« on: August 21, 2018, 08:20:39 AM »

Whose job is it to determine if a jury should be sequestered ?  In the interest of safety and integrity I think this jury should have been sequestered …

A lot of jurors will resent being unjustly imprisoned like that and - if they can figure out what side wanted them sequestered - automatically vote against that side.
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

Byron York hit the nail on the head:

These anti-fascist (AKA fascist) social media SJWs are creating situations in which jurors will vote in a way that doesn't destroy their lives, or their families lives, after the trial (and in many ways, who could blame them?) versus based on justice. Very, very, scary.

Looks like the jury tried to satisfy everyone. Guilty on eight charges, no verdict on ten.

I doubt Manafort is very satisfied with that.
