Meanwhile in the russia, Russia, RUSSIA investigation

Closed door meeting with top FBI lawyer James Baker states that FBI got information from DNC/Hillary lawyer for FISA Warrant.

I want to see people go to jail for this crap.

Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,

What is the crime?

Giving false info to the feds?  Trying to influence elections?

My take: Trump is twisting arms really hard to get at the big fish, Clintons and Obama- its the only plausible reason why rosenstein, Baker, Strozk, Comey, and several others aren't facing a military tribunal right now for an attempted coup.

I think it means they lied on the warrant application.  I am not sure what crime that equates to, but I have heard others say it is a crime.

They are being extremely vague...
Quote
provided documents for the Russia probe as federal investigators prepared a surveillance warrant for Trump campaign aide Carter Page

Quote
"During the time that the ... DOJ and FBI were putting together the FISA (surveillance warrant) during the time prior to the election, there was another source giving information directly to the FBI, which we found the source to be pretty explosive," Jordan said.

The way this is phrased, no one seems willing to say what (if anything) was actually done with the info from Sussmann - whether it even made into the FISA warrant. They also don't say what the info was, just that it was relevant to the Russia probe and it was provided at the same time the warrant was being put together.

Also, did we ever get that fully un-redacted FISA warrant?

I just wish coverage of all of this would just go away.  I am getting damn sick and tired of hearing about it.  No one will ever be held accountable for the crimes that were committed.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

Mueller due to release findings AFTER Midterms...

Which consensus seems to indicate that it's a nothing-burger, otherwise he'd release it before the midterms.

Then there's the fact that there's no leaks, no hints, no nothing.  If there was anything the MSM would have been running wall-to-wall headlines about it...confirmed or not.

Mueller due to release findings AFTER Midterms...
I thought that was already expected once we got into September.

there is a strong unwritten norm for the Department of Justice to avoid taking public prosecutorial action around the time of an election — a period thought to be about 60 or 90 days before it. Mueller and his team are well aware of that norm.

It seems probable that Mueller will follow it, at least to the extent that it’s practicable. He certainly should. If he does, that means you shouldn’t expect any major indictments or other revelations during the next 60 days.

Apparently Lisa Page (the FBI paramour of Special Agent Strzok) has told members of Congress that, after [claiming to not be] investigating Trump for nine months, the FBI ... didn't have any evidence of collusion with the Russians.

I guess we already knew that since it would have been leaked to Dems or the media by now, but it is nice to see confirmation.
