Kanye West
« on: October 12, 2018, 11:20:32 AM »
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMzkGbivfco

I couldn't find an unedited version of Kanye West's little speech at the White House.  The above line is from Tucker Carlson, but he at least has extended clips of what he said.

It was interesting what he said about Racism among other things.  I guess I will be listening to more analysis, but he has definitely stepped off the Dem plantation.  They won't like that.  The little bit I heard from yesterday indicated the liberal media is not taking it well or trying to explain it away.

I have no idea if Kanye West is representative of anyone, but it is interesting to see.

I would say that some of what I heard him say is just off the wall, but he is an entertainer not a politician so I don't expect him to have his ideas together.

Here's the list what the MS has called Kayne in the last 24 hours.

3) a house negro
4) a token
5) a minstrel
6) a white supremacist

I can't be a hypocrite on this, so I have to say that Kayne's cussing and whatnot has no place in the oval office anymore than any of the shenanigans I complained about by celebrities  at the White House when Obama was in office. Call me old-fashioned, but to me, that office deserves decorum.

Other than that though, it has been interesting to watch the tolerant left use every racist term you can think of to describe West. Now THAT'S hypocrisy.

I suspect Kanye will see some sexual assault allegations before the end of the year.

I 100% agree that that language has no place in the WH and the Oval Office.  And I would be 100% with the media if that's what they were complaining about.  But it's not.  It's that Kayne had wandered off/escaped the Democrat Vote plantation has them losing their damn minds.   Because they are terrified that his fans may start to look at the reasons why Kayne has left and start examining what the D's have done for them and what Trump has done for them (e.g. more jobs...) and start puling R levers in the voting booth.

I agree. West actually makes some very good points that are a slap in the face to the, "We pat black people on the head and let them know we take care of them" left. I wish he would be more eloquent in the Oval Office. Outside of that, I'm fine if he's like Ted Nugent and shocks people into thinking.

I don’t feel the need to express an opinion on every entertainers political stance de jour.

Especially if they are currently giving the progs headaches, let them canabalize themselves.

Entertainers should be ignored except for the occasional mocking.

The less media I consume the clearer I see the depths of insanity of the modern world.

The more news you consume the less you actually know.

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

Well yeah, when they say something we like, we give them the thumbs up, when they say something we don't like, we give them the thumbs down. Everyone does that across the political spectrum.

The important thing is to do what Ron said above - in the greater scheme of things, pay them little attention. I think it's fine to talk good, or talk smack about celebrities that have the public eye. It's just important to not be like their (I'm looking at you, Taylor Swift) fans and do what they tell you to do.

I will always prefer what Adam Baldwin says over what Bette Middler say, but if Baldwin tells me to go jump in a lake, I'm not doing it. Nor, if he tells me "vote Trump" would I do that without having reasons of my own for doing so. Commonality is fine,  blind following, not so much. :)

My post was less about what Kayne said and more about the MSM reaction.

I agree he's a jackass, but since he has a YUGE following, getting some of those fans to perhaps examine why Kayne is wearing a MAGA hat (And he did make a good point about "Again" as for minorities America was not so "Great" for them "Before".)

If he gets people thinking, it's a good thing.  Especially because he's not parroting the Liberal/Leftist line.   And the more the MSM freaks out, the better.  Theyve been Poo-Flinging Howler Monkeys, since Trump got elected , but more recently, and especially with the Kavanaugh hearings.  Let them Howl !!!

I am guilty of wishing left-wing celebrities would shut up, while being grateful for celebrities that talk sense. Please accept my non-apology.

I don't know how many people will be "red-pilled" by Kanye West, but he doesn't just appeal to black people. Them there young people of various colors like that Kanye West, too.

That is more or less why I started the thread.  This is the first national election since 2016 so we will see if this is just an isolated thing or if it represents something.

Having listened to a larger bit of what he said, he said a lot of stuff that didn't make sense to me.  He seemed to be jumping around from one thought to another.  It was hard to listen to.

Well, like every other song she will be done with Phil in two weeks. Girl makes formerly innocent now trashy Disney girls look like model citizens.

And Kayne can be a complete idiot, and will. Doesn't matter. The more someone goes off the plantation the more hidden ugliness we get to see.

That didn't take long.  He flipped and is now claiming he was used by Trump and others.

Did he flip or is that just how the left wants us to interpret his tweets.

From the TMZ website.
Well would you look at that.
Quote
4:15 PM PT -- Kanye contacted us to make it clear he did not mention Donald Trump in his tweets, and he's getting out of politics altogether.

As for being "used" ... he says he was specifically referencing Blexit, and that's it.

The media once again twisting things to make it seem like Trumps own supports are fighting against him in order to spread doubt about him. I'm shocked!
