Happy Cinco de Cuatro! I actually came down to CA for the weekend to get 25% off at the banana stand. Everybody be sure to do your part and use up the party supplies before the Cinco!

It's an Arrested Development (TV series) thing. 

IIRC, Lucile (You'd like Lucile) invented a holiday to use-up all the party supplies right before Cinco de Mayo, just to spite the Mexicans.  Eventually I think the local Mexicans actually liked her fake holiday and embraced it.

^ Yeah, thanks, but I dug it up for myself  and edited my whiney post.

The only thing I know about Cinco de Mayo is to stay the hell away from Federal Boulevard in Denver on May fifths.  I remember at least once coming home from work and the bus had a hell of a time getting through Federal since the Mexigasm was just starting up at that time.
