Portland and Antifa (Again)
« on: June 29, 2019, 06:23:28 PM »
These guys just need to be shot at this point. I'm not even kidding.

And the Portland Mayor should face jail time for basically promoting the one-sided violence and keeping police stood down.

Did you notice in some of the pictures that other members of the press have taken to wearing helmets?  Andy Ngo should do the same.

Or you we can just take to shooting thugs in masks, like Ben mentioned.

I'm OK with this.

Yup. I think pretty much every firearms self-defense class I've taken, and probably what most teach (with many having LE as teachers), consider what happened to Ngo a clear, "shoot until they're no longer a threat" situation. Obviously you have to deal with the legal implications, especially with say, the Potland, OR prosecutor's office, but this kind of crap is getting out of hand. All it would have taken is a punch to another part of Ngo's head, and he might very well be dead right now.

These are basically rabid animals, and they need to be dealt with accordingly.

Unfortunately Antifa won’t come out and play except for in far left states/cities where they are well protected

Wear a mask and a black hoodie. You can commit violence with impunity in Portland.

There have been several journalists assaulted by police while filming from a public sidewalk (it's been a few years since I've heard of one) and I thought "they should hire longshoremen to be cameramen, and the station manager should tell them 'if a cop grabs your camera, stomp the *expletive deleted*it out of him and the station will spare no expense defending you. Try not to kill him, but don't try too hard'"

I still think that's the right idea but perhaps I was too specific.

Should the US AG not at this point start prosecuting the local Mayors and Police Chiefs that are allowing these assaults to continue. Are these not clear Civil Rights violations that are not being prosecuted or stopped by these local officials?

If I was assaulted like that, I would definitely be shooting at the attackers, however I also wouldn’t purposely be placing myself in that situation. I’m not a journalist though.

I have seen some youtube videos of stuff like that.  Most of them involve the journalists putting the camera in the face of the cop or trying to get within a few feet of an arrest.  I think there have been only a few where cops hassled someone who was actually at a discreet distance.

There was an outfit a few years ago in Houston that was on a campaign to follow all police around with cameras.  They kept a discreet distance and there were few problems that I heard about.

With cell phones everywhere, I imagine random people recording police making arrests and such is pretty common these days.

It's amazing to see the logic pretzels that are used to defend antifa.

There’s this idea going around atm that you can go around saying abusive, hateful & deceitful comments without repercussions. Why?

Yet if they call me a name, and I punch them in the nose, they'll scream and cry and demand I be jailed.

Apparently that's not considered hate speech or inciting violence by Twitter.  This is my shocked face.

its shall issue "but" afaik/ianal .... the cops have said no firearms allowed, probably
like many states, they can legally declare demonstrations a gun free zone
Politicians and bureaucrats are considered productive if they swarm the populace like a plague of locust, devouring all substance in their path and leaving a swath of destruction like a firestorm. The technical term is "bipartisanship".
