The argument is actually right, if the retarded "bump stock is a machine gun" idea is correct.

If a bump stock is a machine gun, all semi-automatic guns are actually machine guns, since they can be bumped even without a stupid stock.

I've done it myself.

Problem is, a bump stock is not a machine gun and Trump's ban of them is moronic, illegal, and unconstitutional anyway.  Along with the NFA, but that's another story.

When is it going to be challenged in court?  It seems it should be fairly easy to do ? ? .... ? ? =|

It was challenged.  If I remember correctly the Supreme Court refused to take it.

The wretched Supreme Court won't even say we have a right to a 15 round pistol mag, the idea that they will legalize machine guns is absurd.

Judges don't know anything about guns, they will defer to whatever the jackasses at the BATFE determine.

The SC only refused to issue a preliminary injunction on the rule.  The multiple lawsuits over the bump stock ban are still in progress.
