A small positive for the NRA

The NRA board of directors passed a rule saying board members are now supposed to actually attend meetings:

This appears to be in response to a similar petition by Save the Second, though it is not as strict as their petition (that I signed).
I hope this will not be circumvented by innumerable excuses.
Will this actually put an end to board members not attending meetings for years on end (like Marion Hammer)?

A small step. How about a rule that they can't profit or contract with the NRA or it's vendors?
