What moron parent would choose a private school run by commies?

With public school, there is no choice but to seek it on the free market is inexplicable.

If, for some reason, my kids were attending that school I'd not only pull them out but I'd hire a lawyer and sue their asses for....whatever. Negligence? Malfeseance? Failure to adhere to certain standards? Whatever, I would break them.

The kids who are impressionable will be impressionable, the kids who aren't, won't be. It doesn't matter what ideals they are being forcefed.

Also; that's why kids can't vote.

At a Washington news conference to release the new report, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton likewise concluded that these PA schoolbooks are "...deeply disturbing, particularly for the denial of Israel's existence..."

The results that PMW and Sen. Clinton have warned about can be seen in a new poll released by Near East Consulting, a Palestinian research institute, which asked Palestinians, "Does Israel have the right to exist?"

Among young people ages 18 -25, those who have been most influenced by PA education, an overwhelming number - between 84% - 93% -- denied Israel's right to exist. It should be noted that PA teachings denying Israel's right to exist are endemic throughout PA society and media, including among Fatah leaders, which would account for the high levels of denial of Israel's legitimacy throughout PA society.

On a completely unrelated note, I bought some Lego branded fruit snacks at the store the other day. Upon further reflection, it seemed to me that giving small children fruit snacks shaped like lego bricks isn't such a hot idea. I am waiting for the lawsuit on these. rolleyes

That's just disgusting...someone ought to be beat with a rubber hose...

On a related note, a similar thing happens in every public school system across the country...when a child goes to the first few grades of school, the teachers confiscate many of their supplies so they can be used by everybody- I remember that when I went to first grade, the teacher wanted to take everything a single folder!

They never seem to understand that collaboration, resource-sharing, and participation are all best done through ownership and self-interest. If no one owns anything and sees no personal benefit, why do any of those things?

What is the difference between the many being slaves of the few (pre-Civil War South in some cases) and the many being slaves of the govt (few)? Same difference.

One of the few things my parents did for me, was send me to a decent private Christian school for elementary. They didn't do the socialism crap, you brought your own, and you took care of your own, or you got in trouble. Before the year ended, I was doing multiplication. Imagine getting that in a government school's first grade.
