These computers are driving me crazy.
I'm using my self-isolation time to get back to work on one of my several book ideas that never really got going. I will probably end up self-publishing, so I need to use a font that's licensed for commercial use, AND that's good for body text in a book. Awhile back I bought a font collection, and it has a couple of fonts that satisfy those requirements. Cool.
Installing new fonts in Windows 10 is ridiculously easy. I have the fonts on a MyCloud storage device, so for Windows each computer I just open up File Explorer, find the font, right click, and tell it to install. Done.
BUT ... I have an Android tablet -- a Samsung Galaxy Tab something-or-other. It has Word on it, so ideally I should have the book fonts on it in case I ever want or need to do any editing with the tablet.
I can't figure out how to add a couple of fonts to the Galaxy tablet. Everything I'm finding in the Idiotnet is telling me that I need to download at least two separate apps ... just to install a font? Can that possibly be correct? Does anyone know how to install TrueType fonts to an Android tablet? (And can added fonts go on the SD card rather than the built-in storage?)
