Home maintenance/management program?
« on: May 05, 2020, 11:18:29 PM »
Has anyone here used an app (mobile or desktop) that reminds you when to do common tasks around the house, like when to clean the gutters or dust the blinds? Is there such an animal?

Nope, just a note book and pencil. Write in down when I think of it, check it off when done.

I just sat down one day and put all that kind of stuff into my google calendar as repeating events.

I see a bunch of apps listed on Google Play.  I've never tried any of them.

If you find one that lets you store product purchase date and warranty info, let me know.

When I got my home inspection here, they set up an account for me on Homebinder. I have not gotten around to using it, but it looks pretty thorough regarding maintenance, warranties, recalls, etc.

I can send you a PM reminder every time my wife tells me to do something.
You might get tired of it though.

That's my strategy.
