Gunbroker
« on: May 20, 2020, 01:14:41 PM »
Logged into gunbroker last month, not really planning on buying anything, but just poking around.  Anyway, turns out my account is inactivated, due to duplicate accounts?

Not really sure why they think I have duplicate accounts.  So that's fine, I'll log a support request and get this sorted out.  There's only one of me, and whatever other accounts they think are duplicates should be shut down, unlinked or w/e.

Well... I've asked for a few status updates, but it's been crickets now for 35 days.  What's with these people?  Doesn't inspire confidence if I actually had a dispute on a transaction.  Is their business really so slapshot that they can't be bothered to review support requests?

The other guy named Nick1911 also put in a request and they're trying to sort it out.  After all, Nick1911 is a pretty common name.  I knew one from church.  I think there's even one on another gun board.

Also, there've been a lot of slowdowns in everything lately 'counta personnel shortages and internal communication clogs.

Yeah, but if Nick waits a little bit the other Nick will un-sign up.

I logged in for the first time in many years just to see if it would give me any trouble but after resetting the password I got right in.

And they addressed my support case at 6:37p last night.

Coincidence, or does it have to do with this post on a public forum?

Probably just an assist from a friendly NSA agent . . . .
