Does Ahmadinejad really think that 300 is a deliberate attempt by the US FedGov to undermine Iran? Or does he say it even though he knows it's a lie?

Ahmadinejad scares me.  He has a history of making inflammatory statements that are obviously false.  It doesn't matter how preposterous his statements are, because his target audience is the semi-educated Iranian population who don't know any better.  Either he has no qualms about lying through his teeth in an effort to bring down the west, or he sincerely believes what he says is true (which makes him inconceivably stupid and uninformed).  I'm not sure which possibility is more dangerous.  I guess it doesn't really matter, as they're both awfully dangerous given that Ahmadinejad is in such a powerful position.

Cultural officials?  Who are they?  Must be that Ministry of Culture that our Parliment formed a few years ago.
Wait, wrong country...   rolleyes
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.
