Memo to NY Times: There's a reason why the editorial page is called the "opinion" page. It's because that's where you print opinions. The rest of the newspaper is supposed to be reporting of, like, facts. (You might suggest to your reporters that they look that word up and study the definition. Hint -- it's spelled F-A-C-T-S.)

Facts are racist.
It's a bit more nuanced than that... Facts are racist when they're inconvenient to the left, show the left in a bad light, etc. Otherwise, facts are facts! And you can't argue with facts!
Meh. You can make them study facts all you want. They'll just come back from it, and tell you it's a fact that global warming will kill us all in twelve years. Or that some men have menstrual cycles. Then they'll lecture you about apples and bananas.
