My local AA groups have their underwear getting twisted over "anonymity" concerns with people forming sober softball teams.
I never joined a softball team, but I always thought many local bars would just have a sign up sheet for those who want to play and a general invitation for your friends to go cheer you on.
Apparently, there is a municipal league here, and your team can play if you have a manager or something, and you have to rent or buy a permit to use the softball field ....
I think some "karens" are making a big deal, like if your bar had to play a team of sober people - I would think you would want to have fun and win - like, it wouldn't actually bother you if it was a church or an AA group ... would it?
if you were in a softball team associated with a bar, i am eager for details about joining, especially how difficult/easy
