Firefly reboot on Disney+?

File under "rumor" for now, but Disney is allegedly planning to do a Firefly series on Disney+, with the same production team that did The Mandalorian.  Nothing officially confirmed.

It is my understanding that Disney has a lot of behind the scenes rules that all shows much follow which includes plenty of woke stuff.  Even if the original production team is involved, I doubt they would be free to do what they want.  I am also not certain if that means the original writers would be involved.

Another question:  Since the original cast has moved on in many cases, would you want them to bring back some of the original cast taking place later?  Or figure out a story about another crew in a different part of that 'verse?

Pretty much any new princess from that bucket of bolts is going to screw things up.

Can you imagine a little four year old at Disney world getting pictures with the princesses? Mommy, mommy I wanna be a whore! Meanwhile dad is in the background thinking if you only knew kid...

Meh, another attempt to siphon money off a nostalgic fan base.  I can't imagine it will be even watchable.

I'm also not much of a fan of the disney company, I don't wish to be a consumer of their products.
