^Agreed, Hawmoon.  Somehow TV shows like Laugh-In, with its rapid cutting, ruined the art of directing....

And so much discussion nowadays seems to depend on the military equivalent of "firepower."

The more words per second you can drop, the more cogent and definitive your argument  is supposed to be.

The guy just sounded young and inexperienced, but he is educated so he has the arrogant illusion that he is wise.  Too young and foolish to realize that stating his "qualifications" does nothing to make his argument any better.  Or that resorting to insults means he lost the argument.

Expecting accuracy in math is racist so why would you expect him to be accurate about anything? You want him to be racist or something?

Yeah, he's apparently a freshman, so he's a student STUDYING math and physics. Even if he gets a BS, he's not a mathematician or a physicist. If he makes it into grad school and gets a research gig, then he can call himself those things. He'll likely be flipping burgers or have switched to a "gender fluid community organizing" major long before then, though.

He is also trying to challenge someone who regularly debates people from the other side in public settings and wins.  Losing that debate is not unexpected.  The only failure would be in not learning from the experience.
