Black Friday deals. What did you buy?
« on: November 24, 2023, 08:34:29 AM »
I just bought a 5 piece Milwaukee tool set (m12) 5 tools, 2 batteries, bag, charger for $199 (reg $349)
I have the m18 impact driver and drill set but I’ve been wanting to expand my m12 line with a ratchet and the small sawzall, the m12 drill and driver will be handy when I don’t need the bigger ones. Also got a worklight in the kit.
I would post a link but I see that they are now sold out at 7:33am

That right there is enough to give a guy FOMO.

I bought some battery powered hand warmers for $20 (regular price 39.99!)
Maybe a rare occurence, but then you only have to get murdered once to ruin your whole day.

Not a darn thing.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

Hardly anyone there. Today is a holiday for the Federal government, schools, and many other people, so people you normally see at the Wawa in the morning stayed home.

I took Seren to daycare so I can work on the stove and stopped for coffee on my way back.

Handful of dewalt 20v tools.  A local farm store had them for 40% off.

Nothing yet.

I'll either drive 40 miles one way to Barnes & Noble, and  find nothing I want to buy, or drive 12 miles a different way and buy a couple boxes of cheapest 9mm they have, to start testing a new toy.

The real riots start when they run out of pumpkin spice coffee in a liberal upper class white neighborhood. Women sure get cranky when that happens

Not a darn thing.

I picked up 2 of those.
:D
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Bought some CFExpress and SD cards (Black Friday specials) at Amazon, and a couple of items from the MyPillow store on half price. (Half price there is actually what a fair price would be, but for Black Friday they had free shipping.)

Seems there was minimal craziness at various WalMart stores around the country today - maybe the small markdowns on the widgets being sold are just not enough to fight over this year.
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.
