There is a HUGE pool of talent on this season.

A She-Animal named Dilana from SouthAfrica
A Southern Belle named Dana from Augusta Ga
A BlueEyed Soulman named Josh
And an amazing talent named Lukas.

One of these 4 will win.  If I had to say, it'll either be Dilana or Lukas.
Take it to the bank.

Is that the Dave Nivarro show?
Agree on the chick from South Africa, I just saw a brief clip but she rocked the house.

Dilana has my vote. Just about everybody else sucks badly.

The band is being sued by the *other* band Supernova, who have been playing under that name since the late 80s. Great bunch of guys. I'm going to see them next weekend!

Tommy Lee knew there was already an established band named supernova, he just didn't care. Dick.

I've been watching.

Dilana's my fav. so far, also.  I like Storm as well, and Magni has been growing on me.  His acoustic performace of The Dolphin's Cry this week was really great; I loved it.

I have reservations about the future of the band, though.  I like Gilby and Jason, they really seem to care about the music and picking the right person, but Tommy is a real asshat sometimes... most of the time, and I get the feeling he's just there to further his celebrity.  I just don't think they'll stay together in the long run.

At the least, I hope that the good ones, like Dilana, Storm and certain other(s) can gain some notoriety and become more accessible with their music.

I think Magni might get it, he's been consistently very good and the acoustic "Dolphin's Cry" kicked ass.  Dilana is the most entertaining, but her overly raspy vocals would sound better with old Slayer or Venom behind them.  The little Chaka looking guy with the crazy hair (Lucas?) and the dude who busted out "Losing my Religion" solo on the piano last week, probably both still have a chance.

I've been wondering why they are using the Supernova name, as well.  Even if they chose it without knowing of the existing band, they were given notice before airing the show and it would have been a lot better to change it then than to wait until the contest is over and they have to go out on tour with some new name no one has ever heard of.
