Mosquitos!!!

i usually don't mind mosquitos (the regular ones) as much as i mind other bugs. the top of my kill list include:

Japanese Beetles (aka buzzy beetles) they seem to enjoy buzzing and bashing around my room right when i turn the lights out and am preparing to go to sleep.

chiggers, who doesn't hate chiggers?

and finally the most girly reaction you will EVER get out of me... ANYTHING THAT BUZZES AND STINGS. particularly Wasps. i will scream, duck, hide, while hunting them with a solid book.

I thought those "buzzy beatles" were called June bugs.  'Tis the season!

i don't care what they are called. they annoy me and thus, must die!!!! (especially when i am right in the middle of the best chapter of an awesome book and one of those noisy suckers lands in my hair!)

Ick.  I picked one up a couple years ago that I couldn't get out completely.  That was funky.

Around here though, I've got the spider invasion.  I dunno why, but my house is completely overrun with the things.  Different kinds too.  I kill four or five a day, and that's just the ones I bother with.  Wake up many night to a spidy crawling on me.  Yuk.

I used a product called Everglades when I lived and hunted in Georgia. Skeeters wouldn't come close. It was 100 percent Deet.  Also, Wal-Mart used to sell Perminone spray in the camping section. Spray a couple layers on your clothes and let it dry. Buggs stayed away while sitting in a tree stand in the middle of a swamp in Georgia in Sept. No smell either.  Can't find either or anymore.
