Unfortunately no.
I was working on her bait with my rod propped up against the railing on the dock. She decided to start fishing with mine and promptly hooked the tiny treble hook of the crankbait in the soft fleshy part of my inside bicep. One tip just barely penetrated, the other penetrated past the barb. I'm trying to control the rod so it doesn't dig deeper and she's freaking out because she "hurt daddy". I finally get the rod away from her and cut the line so I can get her calmed down before she runs into the parking lot.
Now I'm trying to console my daughter with a small crankbait dangling from my arm. The entire time, I'm trying not to laugh. It didn't hurt, but it was funny as heck because I'm trying to convince my daughter I'm ok with this lure dangling from my flesh. She wasn't buying it. After a few minutes, she calms down and I get to determine what to do next. Do I drive to the hospital with this dangling from my arm (and catching my shirt sleeve) or do I just rip it out and deal with the aftermath? I chose the latter, but was able to "stretch" the hole enough to get the barb out with ripping anything. No blood, no damage. It looks like two bug bites about 1/3" apart.
